What the fuck Maine?

Biden 52.9% 430,023

Trump 44.2% 359,502

Collins 51.1% 414,970

Gideon 42.2% 342,698

Do you not understand how Government functions?

You want Biden for President, but to not be able to accomplish anything.

Or have you so bought into Collins bullshit to think she will not continue to be Mitch's lapdog.

...this may be a simple case of people voting for the POTUS slot and nothing else. I think that's why there are run-offs in GA as well. People were REALLY focused on getting 45 out of office.

For President, Biden - 419,309, Trump - 340,512. Total votes = 759,821.

For Senator, Collins - 383,227, Gideon - 324,145. Total votes = 707,372.

Counting isn't finished yet, but at this point there are 52,449 more votes for President than for Senator, supporting the hypothesis raised by UncleTomsEvilBrother.

scenario.

Also the scenario they rigged it for Collins but not also Trump is kinda hard to believe. Looking at the results it is clear a lot of people voted for Biden and Collins. There are a lot of Never Trump Republicans in Maine.

unless there are robust audits, they are no more trustworthy than touchscreens.
ditto for aggregators. do they send the counts to boe via internet?

some of us tried to convince ppl to check the poll tapes at their precincts against boe counts.
if your local party org collects them, they should check them against official totals.

I am reminded of this study

If you are way into politics, you are not the average American. Not even close.

A new poll from the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg Public Policy Center reveals how shockingly little people know about even the most basic elements of our government and the Constitution that formed it.

Republicans overperformed across the board, and one fact is very clear: in many places, voters chose Biden at the top of their ticket, and then voted Republican down-ballot. Case-in-point: NE-2 (Nebraska splits EVs like Maine). Biden won NE-2, but Republican Congressman Don Bacon was re-elected by about 5 points. Georgia narrowly voted for Biden, but didn't (as of yet - runoffs are coming) elect any Dems to the Senate.
