Trump is a rally junkie. Being the center of attention at rallies is profoundly important to him! By now he probably feels it's part of his identity.
Now, with no race to run, will he go "cold turkey"?
One draw to supporting Senate run-off candidates, besides giving him credibility as a party leader, is that he will be able to speak at rallies.
BUT
He won't be the center of attention at such rallies and that won't suit him one bit.
I think that it's more likely that he will announce plans to run in 2024 and collect money from his supporters to hold rallies over the next four years. The problems with this: 1.) rallies cost a lot of money and his supporters might soon cool to giving the grifter more money; 2.) his legal difficulties might overwhelm him after Jan .20; and 3.) his age/weight might finally catch up with him.
What do you think?
