8. I want to say I love Treasure Island

I thought of buying a condo there after renting three winters. The last year there I decided not too.

Canada is home and I am glad I did not because I had a heart attack in 2017 which required a quadruple bypass.

Your post made me chuckle as there were quite a few American right wingers in the condo. They hated Obama and Clinton. Other than at happy hour by the pool we didn't see much of them.
The Gulf was right across the street. I loved the beach. It is my favorite beach in all the USA. I been to 45 states. I had hoped to visit Hawaii someday. Now that Trump is toast I just have to wait until covid is under control and I might get my chance to see Hawaii.

PS: The beaches in Santa Maria Cayo, Cuba are the best I have ever been to, just a FYI. I be three times.

So happy for America that trump is voted out. We all cheered up here in Canada. What a relief that the meth lab downstairs will be gone in January.

10. It is a great place

Sad that our Canadian neighbors will not be coming down this winter. I heard that Canadian Health System will not let them purchase health insurance for while they are here. Is that true? Florida is turning redder and redder with the influx of retiring people from the north with a few bucks. They are mostly Repubs. I am just happy that my trumper neighbors have now pulled in their signs and all is now well in my world.

11. No true about keeping from getting health insurance.

a couple years or sooner the canadian govt (Provincial for each) decided it was not going to pay much if any. I f any ones to go to Florida they get private travel insurance. It must be higher now due to this restriction.

the only strict rule is that to come back Canadians must get tested and quarantine for 14 days on return.

covid has restricted travels very much. it is a pain but we are keeping alive, all of us. we are all in this boat together.
