Im sure he would prefer to remain retired though. He has already given so much of his life and energy to the country.

(10,885 posts)IMO, men of distinction do work that interests them, no matter what it might be and how unexpected it might be, without thinking of reward or recognition.
Thus, it wouldn't surprise me to see BHO have an active interest somewhere in Joe's administration.

(19,264 posts)It would be "weird" for the top dog being demoted to an underling. Political careers end at the Presidency. I don't think Joe would ask and I don't think Obama would offer.
In theory he could run again for the Senate again but I don't think he will do that either.
