1. It'll definitely be more than three-points. It'll be around five-points when all said and done.

That's a pretty strong margin in the popular vote, with only Obama's seven-point win in 2008 besting it of the 21st Century elections.

6. Here is my deepest feeling....Trump had close to 4 years to lie, cheat, and con people.

...People watched and listened to the con man day after day after day.

....How could so many people still vote for the liar con man?
....Trump lied about one of the most deadly threats in our history, yet still so many voted for him..

...After all the lies about so much, I thought far fewer would vote for Trump. Thankfully, we still won,
and our country is saved for a while. But how could so many people vote for the ....liar con man?

propaganda works, you keep on repeating a lie over and over people will believe it.

So sad. We should never go down this road again.

5. He did about 3 percent better in terms of margin than Clinton did

as pointed out above this margin is likely to be about 5 maybe 6 when all is said and done. Similarly she was up by a bit over 1 and wound up a bit under 3. And that margin most transferred to the five states he flipped. Only GA is going to be considerably more ahead of Clinton's margin than that. Abrams is probably much of the reason for that.

71+ million saw a person that divided the nation when he could gain from that, and called a deadly virus a hoax, and they concluded that he was the best person to lead the country for the next four years - that is beyond worrying.

15. An interesting perspective

The alt right has a group named for the 3% of people instrumental in the revolution. Breaking down the numbers of 70 million to 3% is roughly 2 million. Gladwell's book The Tipping Point illustrates how things can take a change of direction at a saturation point. I posit that we saw the 2 million trump supporters in action, and not the others. How close did we get to the tipping point? Did the pandemic affect the numbers significantly enough to have saved us?
