and i'm sure he would refuse to admit he lost no matter what .

But I think the bigger fear for him are the things mentioned here like facing legal issues and money he owes.

Being President allowed him to avoid a lot of the legal problems. And he could use it for personal grift.

I think it's also why his sons are reacting the way they are and were even before the election .

And now that he brought attention to himself by being President they wont be able to engage in a lot of the corrupt deals they did before because banks and other lenders who are corrupt know it might bring attention to them.
