President Donald Trump is reportedly has another gambit in the works to magnify his unfounded accusations that the election, which he lost to Democratic challenger Joe Biden last week, was “stolen” from him via election fraud: Going back to holding his beloved rallies.
CNN, Axios, and NBC News report that Trump will be holding campaign-style rallies throughout the country in a few weeks as his legal team continues to fight the election results in court with unproven claims that the election had been plagued with voter fraud.
White House senior adviser and Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller, and lawyer Rudy Giuliani made the push on the rallies, according to CNN.
The Trump campaign did not immediately respond to TPM’s request for comment.
CNN Jake Tapper reported via Twitter on both the rallies and Chief of Staff Mark Meadows reportedly urging Trump to consider conceding the race.
Miller retweeted Tapper’s post and called it “100% false,” though it appeared his denial was directed at the Meadows aspect of the report, not necessarily the rallies.
“There is no truth to this report whatsoever,” the campaign adviser wrote. “CoS Meadows, Dave Bossie, Jared Kushner, Rudy, myself and everybody else are on the same page – we all work for @realDonaldTrump and follow his lead, and there is no daylight between us.”
Later Miller retweeted conservative commentator Dan Bongino’s post declaring “I’m down for a Trump RALLY.”
“Who’s with me?” Bongino asked.
