America's political parties need new mascots.

The donkey and the elephant are way out of date. Also, in tribute to the largest portion of the Earth's covering, I think we should select sea creatures.

For the GOP, I suggest the pufferfish.

For the Democratic Party, I think the blue whale is uniquely appropriate.

They are smart, stubborn, honest, and pack a hellofa kick.



On the other hand, it is an insult to elephants--wonderful creatures--to be associated with rethugs.

. . . crows are so much more intelligent than the average republican that it'd hardly seem fair to crows. Actually, that's true for elephants too, so . . . yea, let's go with "Jim Crow."
