The reason Republicans are not doing the right thing and congratulating Biden

Trump will be the party's kingmaker for years to come. The Republicans still fear Trump. Trump's cult following is large and it is rabid. They all fear being primaried by a Trump-endorsed candidate

especially if he can not keep his rallies up ... who will pay for all of that. His fan base might well die off from Covid-19. They will roll him out occasionally like they did with Reagan.

The right-wing propagandists created a monstrous voting bloc for Republicans, and they're afraid of them now.

Plenty of former Republicans paid the price for expressing moderation on issues, punished for being "RINOS" and not maintaining "purity" per Limbaugh, Hannity, etc.

tRUMP got pissed off and threatened to unload all the dirty business and secrets about the Republican Party to the public if they do not fight for him?

Hell, I hope it becomes a much bigger train wreck with tRUMP and Republicans hitting their flash point, when nothing can be done to save their tyrant child.

...nobody will want anything to do with him.

He's a single termer who lost the popular vote twice, never had a collective approval rating over 49% and whose Presidency was besieged by scandals, nagging questions about foreign interference, an Impeachment and a disastrous pandemic response.

He's not going to be viewed like Reagan. He won't even be viewed like George W. Bush, who left office during a similar disaster but whose image has rebounded for the simple reason he's comparably far more likeable than Trump.

He will be viewed as mud with no legacy to speak of, and looming legal matters will only cement that fact. He will be dropped like a hot potato the moment he steps onto that helicopter to take him away.
