IIRC they discovered the person who bought the gun drove him there jmowreader Nov 2020 #8
Certainly hard to prove his mother's involvement unless one of them admits to it. BobTheSubgenius Nov 2020 #10

First, what did he buy the gun for if he didn't want Rittenhouse to have it.
Second, he thought giving a gun to a guy who would go nuts if he didn't, was a smart idea.
Seems like he's admitting he knew he was arming an unhinged maniac.

They need to go after the person storing the gun too.

No matter who did it, it's incredibly stupid to give a gun to someone because they'll have a meltdown if you don't.
This means that person already know the kid has a short fuse & were worried about it.
Otherwise, they wouldn't have that excuse.
It's essentially, "I was afraid of him if I didn't give him the gun.". Huh?
It's a stupid excuse, or it's made up after the fact.

The proper way to deal with this situation would have been to lock and load, aim at Rittenhouse’s chest, and tell him he has exactly ten seconds to get the fuck off my property or I’ll blow you the fuck away; he can have this when he grows the fuck up.

His mom may have had nothing to do with it...and I don't know about y'all, but to me allowing your kid to go with one of his "friends" across state lines to a riot just screams "call CPS!" to me.

My parents had little to no idea what I was going in my free time. I could have easily gone to a nearby town and get up to who knows what?
