Russia's Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine is more than 90% effective, Reuters cited a Health Ministry representative as saying Monday. The percentage is based on data collated from vaccinations of the public rather than from the vaccine's ongoing Phase 3 trials, Reuters reported.

(5,554 posts)Joe is viewed as the better choice for handling the pandemic, and the prospect of a viable vaccine would move covid down the list of voter priorities. Vaccine announcements could have easily cost us votes, and it looks like we needed just about every vote we got.
That being said, I'm convinced Russia is either lying or stole pfizer's vaccine.

Oh my! Russia calls UKs vaccine a monkey vaccine yet the latest info on composition of Sputnik vaccine is that it is veterinary medicine according to the disappointed head of a Russian biopharm company. Meanwhile Putin refuses to take his own vaccine yet offered it to Ukrainians

German/Pfizer company vaccine is an RNA vaccine.
