One thing I can't imagine Trump doing between now and January 20th

Signing a single bill into law. Not unless there's a bill that proclaims him king for life. Out of sheer petulance, he won't sign anything, no matter how important it is for the country.

So even if by some miracle Republicans become willing to pass some sort of COVID relief (like, you know, a bill that's really stingy, but has lots of perks for their rich friends), it's just not happening unless it's got veto-proof support. And even that would almost certainly involve a ten-day delay, because Trump won't trouble his sulking self to issue a straight-forward veto either. A desperate country with people facing evictions in the middle of winter would have to wait for a pocket veto to occur.

for Biden and thus the country. I can only hope the world understands this and doesn't hold it against Biden, or the country as a whole. Sadly I don't think they anybody is going to fully trust us for a long time. Not as long as so many people in this country are willing to vote for complete evil fools.

Although I’ve been reading DU forever, I just officially signed up this election. However, I am hoping someone will start a poll about what date Trump leaves the White House for Florida. My bet is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I’m betting they will not participate in Christmas festivities. The votes will have been certified by then and Trump will realize he can’t manipulate electors. Trump will say America doesn’t deserve him.
