I was actually impressed with the politeness of a couple sidewalk signature collectors trying to get signatures for the Recall Newsom efforts. There was also a tent with a couple Trump guys and they asked us to sign something. My husband always answers “8645” with a thumbs down and they were actually polite —“okay, thank you, sir.” So case by case, I guess.
