However, if someone could talk him into it, we'd be spared all sorts of nonsense and heinous fuckery in the meantime.

but in light of Pompeo's recent comments and what if trump and his staff just continue like nothing has changed?

I realize it sounds crazy but what we are literally facing right now would have been considered insane 4 yrs ago.

Ever possible insane thing is on the table as far as I can tell.

In fact he will never concede, he is incapable of acknowledging failure.

He'll have to "escorted" out of the White House if he refuses.

Biden will be President in January and there’s nothing Trump can do to stop it. If necessary, Joe can send in Secret Service and/or US Marshalls to drag his ass out in handcuffs.

accept reality, and that can only happen if people in his inner circle can get some sense into him.

And even then, it won't be a simple matter.

I'm really curious about all the moves he is making at DoD, and about Pence's vacation.

Do we know for a fact he isn't moving people around in other agencies, like the CIA?

It’s not the simple. If he concede or not is not the big problem. The big issue is some of those republican states will most likely NOT certify Biden as winner, therefore Trump and his GOP will try to keep the Present office and won’t turn over the White House to Biden with the help of the Pentagon AG and the local polices.

pranced off and declared victory. He can't do that now, but conceding and preparing a transition team is impossible for him.

I hear his staff is actually preparing for transition (some of them, anyway) and keeping him out of it.

Whatever happens, it will be a clusterfuck.

and he doesn't concede - he'll be able to address his followers - the deplorables - at his rallies or on the Trump News Network and say - that the election was stolen from him. It was a conspiracy and he never conceded the defeat. In his mind he's the rightful president.

His supporters will eat that up and that will be the platform he'll still maintain to cause all kinds of problems for Biden, the Dems and maybe even some Repugs.
