I keep hearing great ideas for cabinet positions, such as E. Warren

Buts lets not use any of our few Senators for these positions. I will say, OK but only we can be assured that another Democrat will replace them, and be as good as them. Yes I want an "all-star" cabinet, but not at the expense of an aggressive house and senate. So please think about what will happen if you move some of our great law makers to cabinet positions.

that cabinet officers don't, necessarily. Warren would be replaced by a GOPer but Klobuchar would be replaced by a Democrat, so that's an important consideration.

I have a question for someone with more knowledge than me:

Can Warren (or any Senator with a Republican state Governor) be a top advisor to Biden WITHOUT giving up their Senate seat?

When she worked on the consumer finance protection agency for President Obama? If she was I don't think there'd be much of a problem now.
