All living former presidents need to step forward and address the Trump attack on our democracy.

The way things are going, a third of Americans aren't going to accept that Joe Biden won. This is a crisis that threatens our democracy, our nation, and our peace. Trump would love to burn America to the ground and set Americans against Americans. We need senior leaders of both parties to speak out and nip this in the bud. They need to do it in a forceful and united way, calling out Trump for what he is and the damage he is doing.

Carter I assume is known where he stands.

It will make no difference though because you see, trump and the modern GOP are actual traitors, they really are as bad as I have said or anyone else has said this whole time.

There are a few decent ones but not nearly enough.

There are only four. Bush made a statement, which included "The American people can have confidence that this election was fundamentally fair, its integrity will be upheld, and its outcome is clear."

The other three are Democrats. They've all spoken out or made statements.

His statement was surprisingly assertive, considering that he generally likes to stay out of the fray. I'm not sure we can reasonably expect any more than that.

I'm not sure what such an event would accomplish. Everyone knows where everyone stands.
