These hundreds of cars, full of people waiting for tests, reminds us of Trump's failure to keep us safe. He has completely failed to get the virus under control, and thousands of us are paying the price every day.

Thank goodness Joe Biden will take the reins from him soon.

Lines of cars snaked around empty parking lots as people in DuPage County, Ill., just west of Chicago, waited for COVID-19 tests Monday.

The COVID-19 death toll in Illinois has crossed 10,000, and the preliminary seven-day statewide test positivity from Nov. 1 to Nov. 7 is 12%.

I rarely leave my house. But, our neighborhood bars and restaurants are packed these days
and even my neighbors are always having parties outside (even though it's less than 10 people.). It's no wonder. Covid fatigue
has put us in this situation. People don't get it.

We see these photos and videos of people lined up for miles to get tested, and yet...

I live in RI, on the MA border, in a small city surrounded by many good-sized towns, so a pretty populated area. Our COVID numbers have steadily been on the rise recently, some quite seriously. We have no testing lines! The CVS drugstores are offering drive-thru testing at many of their locations, and - as often as I'm at CVS - it's a very rare day that there is someone waiting in the testing lane. I've probably seen no more than two cars in total all these months.

Now, I'm not discounting the reports we're seeing; I can believe my eyes, but I just don't understand why we have none of this around here.
