What kind of power/influence will Trump have after he leaves the WH?

Will his tweets have the same force as they do today?

Will Trump try to have a government-in-exile?

Will he remain as influential, threatening to the Republican Party to the extent where the latter would feel compelled to support his re-nomination in 2024 if he chose to run and/or install Don Jr. and Kimberly Guillfoyle as heads of the RNC?

Or do you believe Trump will be satisfied with his own cable show?

Sorry, but every reassurance that hell go, depends on Rs having a limit to what they'll do. These RW mofos have no limit. They will stop at nothing to retain power. And they have a millions strong, armed, belligerently ignorant cult rabidly supporting whatever they decide.

6. Trump will start his next grifter scam con game

Grifters gotta grift. He will probably start his own super-pac. And will probably start some internet RW "news" outlet-forum, where subscribers pay $5/month and he sells advertising.

He will also be very busy with NY criminal investigations. His power will wan. There are plenty of Trump politicians who will run in the 2023 primary. He will be 77 then, assuming he's still alive. He's an old man , who has had covid.

... his cult will follow/find him wherever he finds a megaphone - racial hate needs to be stoked ...

... This, of course, is if he somehow manages to escape SDNY folks; which, if there's a God, he won't ...

... by the way; Rush was a local DJ on KQV back in the day; it was the 3rd rated station in a 4 station market for it's genre ...
... and he was just as obnoxious then as he is now, just not as polished ....

A daily radio show is one of the more demanding jobs in the business. Like him or not, Rush did have talent and a strong work ethic.

Trump has neither talent nor a work ethic. He won't succeed - on radio, at least.

10. Immense power. The GOP bought him for life. He'll use his soon-to-be-announced media platform (OANN)

to continue doing Trumpy things while Jr. tries to influence the GOP from within. The GOP will never be able to run away from him because he just got the second largest vote total in American election history. They're stuck with him and his family, probably forever.

over the majority of the Republican Party's base for some time to come. But, that power/influence will slowly begin to fade.

There will be few current, or future, Republican's up for re-election, or elected office for the first time, in the 2022 mid-term elections who will have the luxury of ignoring Trump. But after that, more and more Republicans will be able to safely ignore him.

I don't believe Trump has the discipline, or ability, to form a "government in exile." I'm also pretty sure that would be outright treason.

Further, I believe the Republican donor class is done with Trump. Therefore, it's going to be very difficult for him, or any of his spawn, to win the nomination for the party's presidential candidate for 2024. That also goes for any of his spawn, etc., taking over the RNC.

Last, I don't believe for a second that Trump would ever be satisfied with another TV show. In any case, I'm pretty sure he won't be allowed to star in one from incarceration.
