SO-YOU-WANT-A-CIVIL-WAR-HUHFrom Daily Kos:
Gee, ever stop to think what that really means?
In real-life terms, Proud Boi; not in those God, Guts, and Guns fever-dreams with which you normally frenzy yourself...

(2,248 posts)It lays it bare.
If it's Civil War they want, EVEYTHING CEASES and you live under constant threat. You can't be a sniper on Tuesday and expect your Amazon order on Thursday and go boating on the weekend.

(100,042 posts)If there were a Civil War in the US, he'd be stopped at the border because all of our borders would be closed and national and international travel would cease. Business and leisure would be ground to a halt, even more so than they've been during this pandemic.

Will there be armies, conscription, generals on both sides?
I was insulted by another poster for even asking the question. But no one has answered it so far.

Hey, there, mister black man, can you hear me?
I don't want your diamonds or your game
I just want to be someone known to you as me
And I will bet my life you want the same.
Come and sing a simple song of freedom
Sing it like you've never sung before
Let it fill the air
Tell the people everywhere
We, the people here, don't want a war.
Seven hundred million are ya list'nin'?
Most of what you read is made of lies
But, speakin' one to one ain't it everybody's sun
To wake to in the mornin' when we rise?
Come and sing a simple song of freedom
Sing it like you've never sung before
Let it fill the air
Tell the people everywhere
We, the people here, don't want a war..."
