It's more about the bankruptcy, which will cut her out along with all Donnie's other creditors. She will want to cash in as soon as possible because she's probably well aware that his net worth is underwater once the loans are called in and there will be nothing left to get.

She agreed to be First Lady (after that awkward first few weeks) in return for something, and that something is probably up on Jan 20.
