I've been afraid to post this. I've been afraid to think it.

We need to prepare for the possibility that Trump succeeds. There are more people in this country than we realize who would be happy if he did. There are more people surrounding him than we appreciate working toward that outcome. We haven't seen the end of what he can get away with. We haven't since the day he took office.

He's done. Freaking out about it on our parts won't change anything. He's inept and the people surrounding him are inept. Even if he were willing to try to subvert the will of the people, he wouldn't know how to actually do it.

the possibility that Trump could stand a good chance to win the presidency, that poster would probably have been accused of fear mongering as well.

Seriously, though, I don't think you are at all wrong to worry about such a possibility, remote as it is, and it is better to be prepared for anything that can happen than not to be prepared.

...We were donating to groups on behalf of cages children and abused immigrants, showing up at airports to offer aid to Muslims, marching, voting, screaming. Joining with Black Lives Matter despite being white. This entire Spring and Summer Washington DC, Portland, and other cities were flooded with people of all colors protesting for BLM, enduring gas, beatings, and rubber bullets.

So no, “we” did not “let” them do any of the shit they did. Stop repeating that nonsense.

They had the Senate, the White House, and a malice like none we have ever seen before. They moved so fast it took my breath away.

Almost half this country seems to be really okay with authoritarianism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, and school shootings. Fascism. That is really horrifying.

But more than half the country keeps voting Democratic. We have a severe problem getting our people into office — but we are the majority, and never forget that.

And we did that when too many Democrats refused to go out and vote for Democrats in 2010, 2014, and 2016 - and when certain of us just couldn't bring themselves to support Hillary because she made a speech on Wall Street or didn't inspire them enough.

...when it is happening legally? What exactly are “we” supposed to do when we have a minority in the Senate?

You do know it is not some magic thing by which McConnell gets his shit done, right? He is evil and malicious and corrupt, but what he does in the Senate he does because he leads the MAJORITY. And the majority makes the rules.

If you haven't made any, then I find it hard to believe you think this will come to pass.

It's human nature to respond with vigor to a situation we think dire. It's also human nature to do little to nothing in response to a situation that poses no threat.

Go to the front page search page, type into it the key words of your claims, then read those discussions.

We'll agree that we haven't seen the end, but we're prepared to fight this out, not just sit back and take a technical knockout. Don't forget, 45 is 0 for 12 so far.

Those other claims you say "we" did nothing about? Those were structural problems, not "we" problems.

The biggest concern I have is what kind of damage OrangeLoser may try to do while throwing this asinine hissy fit he's been throwing. He WILL be leaving the WH in January, if not sooner. He lost. Period.

He's an embarrassment to himself and to everyone who still supports him. They just don't know it yet.
