Theory: Trump doesn't really think he can win

He's using the complaints of fraud to grift his supporters out of money. Apparently the fine print on the donation page says that only donations after the first $8000 go to the recount. Trump is using this to pay his campaign debts and fill his pockets.

This is my sister's theory, and I do think it makes sense.

his trademark, to keep his base riled up so they’ll keep supporting him. The big cash comes later as a result, the current is peanuts next to what he has in mind.

He thinks he’s holding us hostage.

All he is doing is weakening any bargaining position he thought he had. He’s too stupid to understand he’s just making things worse for himself going forward.
