Today is Veterans Day.

How many men and women have died to protect the very rights that Trump and his enablers -- McConnell, Barr, Pompeo -- are attacking and destroying, chunk by chunk. Hitler would be proud. Putin is.

I can't believe we are using word "coup" in relation to our government.

God bless our veterans and their service. Let's prove ourselves worthy of their sacrifices and rise up against this would-be dictator.

As a kid, I remember wearing them, and then we didn't. I think the VFW sold them or provided them for school kids. I know I was too young to really appreciate what they symbolized.
