4 MSNBC contributors are leaving the network to join ⁦@JoeBiden
administration

Health expert Ezekiel Emanuel

Legal analyst Barbara McQuade

Political analyst Richard Stengel &

Historian Jon Meacham.

All will be invited back as unpaid guests.

Biden was able to snag four MSNBC contributors. On Wednesday, the network confirmed to The Hill that health expert Ezekiel Emanuel, legal analyst Barbara McQuade, political analyst Richard Stengel and historian Jon Meacham will no longer be paid by the network. They will all be moving on to work with Biden in various capacities or have already started.

All of the former contributors will be invited back as unpaid guests with full disclosure of what their participation is in the Biden administration.

Emanuel was the special advisor for health policy to the director of the White House’s Office of Management and Budget from 2009 to 2011, per The Wharton School’s website. He will serve on Biden’s coronavirus task force though he’s currently facing backlash for a piece he wrote in 2014 saying he hopes to be dead by 75, per Newsweek.

We need a strong investigator to track Trump’s financial ties to Russia, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia and to identify how Trump profited by selling or giving them US national intelligence. Even if Trump arranges for Pence to be President for a day so he can pardon him, this investigation needs to happen so we know what dangers we face.

Why Did Neal Katyal Go an Extra Mile for Neil Gorsuch?
“Judge Gorsuch and I come from different sides of the political spectrum,” Katyal said in his introduction. “We disagree about many things. But we agree on the most important things: That all people are equal before the law, and that a judge's duty is to the law, and to the Constitution above all.”

I'm surprised, but very happy, an historian has been named. I wish there'd be a "council of historians" in the WH just like there's a council of economic advisers.

relationship: How he verbally and emotionally abused her in the first few years of their work coupling. Then the onset of their "flirty" stage. Then the blatant sexualization, with her on the desk & him Cheshire Cat. Then the ditching of their spouses. Then the mock distancing on air while something was definitely up. Then the Reveal and marriage. Though I stopped watching them much starting in 2012, the couple of glimpses I've had lately seems to show some tension again.

How's *THAT* for "icky"?!1
