There were times I felt like we weren't doing enough to get the job done, and then TLP would come out with another of their tough ads. It gave me a better attitude and outlook on the whole thing. No matter how many votes they actually swung our way, and it's hard to tell, they did a wonderful job of keeping up Democratic morale, and that counts for a lot.

Michael Steel says the only reason he remains on the books is to annoy them. Steve Schmidt says his former party has rotted to the core and has to be utterly destroyed.

They have all said there is no party to return to.

They used to have certain ideals, which might have been the wrong ideals, but they at least stood for something. Now they're only about the acquisition and retention of power. They'll spend so much it makes the Democrats look like pikers if it means they can keep their power. They would sell drugs to children and eat puppies if it meant, in the end, taking something from Democrats. No morals, no ethics, not a second thought about attaining total domination.
