Plus we'd see some of trump*'s former rivals who became shameless sycophants reverting to their previous loathing of him. Particularly Lindsey Graham.

Four years can be an eternity in politics. The next couple of years won't be kind to Trump. His legal and financial issues are going to consume him.

I think we might see the rise of the next generation of Republicans. They'll be just as bad but they'll be smarter and more nefarious.

One of the silver linings of the last four years, in my opinion, is that Trump is such a consistent and tremendous fuck-up. The guy can't even find his ass with both hands! Everything he does is a failure. Thankfully, he really didn't accomplish very much and most of what we know about can be remedied by President Biden. At least, that's what I hope!

I'm more concerned about the Tom Cottons, etc. They're just as bad but they're far more disciplined. That's scary.

I still think trump* might THINK he's going to run, again. I doubt he will be either mentally or physically up to it, but pence spilling his guts would be great.

He's got debts to pay.

John Kasich is bad news too. He's made himself look "centrist", but if you look at his policies as Governor you can see that he's a dangerous ideologue.

His niece says that he won't because he would never put himself into any kind of situation where he would lose twice, but if it's still considered Trump's party in 2024, it would be interesting to see how other GOP candidates treat him. I'm sure they would be ruthless because they want the job now, but they all went after Trump, and he still got the nod. However, this time, there will be a bigger sense of entitlement that I think he'd be shocked at the other candidates attacking him; he's going to have a record that they can attack now, and if Pence is there, he's going to have the stories.

As for the Cottons, I saw something that basically said that the next GOP candidate should be feared - he will be just as authoritarian as Trump but smarter.

Trump would buldoze pence easy. And pencevis fully complicit in all doings, hes spilling no secrets.

Better that biden just declassify as much as possible. Keep it fair, declasify about all our presidents. Go back to Reagan at least, and just just us fet thevfull behind the curtains view.

Trump has ended the us as a respected world power. Embarrassing things are now expected. So lets get it all outbinnthe lught of day, and rebuild based on a foundation of honesty

Just him being in the trump* administration makes inconvenient details a given. I read, somewhere, that being POTUS is his life's dream. That being said, I have NO reason to think he could ever be the nominee.

He's so bland...so oatmeal. I can't see him igniting a crowd of support.

Indiana doesn't want him back. He may not have a soft spot to land after January 20. Just an "IMO"...

He's been using the State Department to throw fundraisers for his war chest. The fundagelicals love him. We're going to see if he becomes another Reagan or just another Santorum. He might be the only Republican running with much foreign policy experience, and I think our politics might take a more international turn in the next few years.
