Virginia college dean calls Biden voters 'ignorant,' 'anti-Christian,' in Facebook post

A dean at a small Virginia college has caused an uproar after calling Joe Biden voters “ignorant, anti-American and anti-Christian” in a Facebook post, the Virginian-Pilot reported.

Paul Ewell, the dean of Virginia Wesleyan University’s global campus, encouraged Biden voters to unfriend him in a partially private post, according to the Virginian-Pilot. Then someone screen-shotted the post and shared it.

Alumni, parents and students were furious at the 1,500-student liberal arts school about halfway between Norfolk and Virginia Beach.

“His comments are abhorrent,” VWU alum Alexis Turner-Lafving wrote in a comment. “The schools repeated failure to appropriately respond to open discrimination and racism is disgusting.”

He has proven that he is an uninformed person with a low IQ, so I am confused.

4. In a country this big, there are always going to be anomalies.

Education is one of the most reliable measures of who does and does not support Trump, but that advantage isn't 100 to 0. There are always going to be some people who just defy expectations, and this guy seems like one of them.

I'm also curious about the university itself and whether that plays any role in this guy's views. Otherwise, it's crazy that he's been elevated to that high a position.
