therefore, i suspect they are not credible. Because people are pretty much operating here as business as usual. No masks, no maintaining social distancing, etc. They act as if there is no public health issue at all.

And said it was packed like the old days. I hadn’t given it much thought but was surprised to hear that. Did she exaggerate? Maybe a bit, but certainly not to the point where it was only half full and she said it was full. I believe there were a lot more people then I would have predicted for sure. People in general are not taking the virus as seriously as they should.

I've been so disappointed in the Cubans falling for the socialista schtick. I learned from your post about Patrick and Manny - the really intelligent thoughtful Cuban Americans - gives me hope.

the body count is a lie. the case count is a lie.
in red states they arent even testing the dead bodies.

in ny, the death rate was 1-10, and they were testing widely.
it's closer to 1m than it is to 1/4 m.

every time i see that number cited, steam comes out of my ears.
