Instead they focus on propagating his same exact lie four years later even though they know it's a lie.

I agree that the media fails to hold his feet to the fire. And early on, they didn't even try.

But now they really do try, but it's impossible to hold to account someone who is so completely without shame or conscience. They call him on his shish and, unlike a normal person who would get brushed back by being called out, he just lies or shrugs and moves on the the next thing. They report on his lies and criminality regularly and pretty robustly, but his base doesn't care and neither does he. I'm not sure what else they can do besides continue to report it.

4. I read a short article this morning, but I can't remember where.

It was about the ridiculous claims Trump's mob had made and they turned out to be false. One claim was about a gal named "Cindy" who was dead since 2003 and yet voted. The truth behind that was that a person named "Cyndi", who had the same last name voted in that same state, but was very much alive. Another was about a retired mailman who had passed away in 2006 and the claim was that he also voted. It turned out that his wife voted using the old-fashioned way of writing her name by using his name along with "Mrs" and that was also legit. Just can't seem to give up, can he?
