In NYC, the homeless guy who sucker-punched Rick Moranis, completely at random, has been arrested.
What bugs me is according to ABC news, this guy has been busted 7 times this year for the same thing.
Why the hell isn't he in jail?

OP
Maybe he's doing it to hopefully go to jail, 3 meals a day and roof over his head.

A lot of homeless people deal with mental illness. Or he could just be an asshole. Either way, hopefully he gets help or put in jail for a bit.

You see guys go through the system with dozens of assaults and it's neve dealt with seriously. Doing something like this should mean hard jail time.
Part of the problem is the war on drugs keeps the courts and jails bogged down. But violent criminals are the ones who deserve all of the attention from the justice system.
