1. They probably have what I call checkitis

meaning they might be checking everything over not just once, not just twice, but three times to make sure what they are going to deliver is as good as they intend it to be.

2. Calculate all of that before scheduling events

3. That might not be as easy as you think

when so much of it depends on other people who are setting things up on their end.

4. I get it - last minute things come up

like the latest on troop withdrawal and so on, but Dems have to set better standards than the always late Killa Con. This is already 30 minutes late.

5. Yes, 30 minutes is a little too long.

Hopefully this is not their fault, and hopefully it will not become habit to be late.
