Trump humping Connies HATE Republican Ohio Gov. DeWine

The Trump humpers I know hate Mike DeWine because he is actually acting like a responsible adult on the virus. There is a new neme calling DeWine the Grinch that stole Thanksgiving and Christmas. They think the virus is way overblown and “encroaches on our freedom”. You’d think our governor was a Democrat...

Getting treated better than Gretchen. They acted within days of each with same restrictions this spring. Yet she has been the center of a kidnapping plot, and other horribleness.
Im between both states and its really telling. The yard signs in Michigan were infuriating.
I know the deniers dislike DeWine, but it still seems tamer in Ohio.

The deniers were so violent they drove Dr. Acton (state health director & mastermind of Ohio's science-based plan) to resign. Prior to resignation it was so bad they had to assign security and state patrol to protect her.

The same, or like-minded, yahoos who plotted against Whitmer also plotted against DeWine. Not as well-developed - but similar reason and plan. And this story is from Ohio - not quite inside the statehouse, but at the statehouse doors: https://www.dispatch.com/opinion/20200417/theodore-decker-viral-statehouse-photo-puts-face-on-coronavirus-debate.

A tad tamer, but not much. And, as someone else suggested, gender likely plays a role: Whitmer and Acton are both female.

I was aware of that.
Its the level of personal vitriol, or lack thereof I experience in both places. So that is somewhat anecdotal, but direct conversations I've had. If you want to call them that. Its more tone deaf whiners venting, actually.
The area of Michigan where my house is, is conservative, although my neighbor is not. Still people speak to me (and husband) as if I completely agree with their horrid views, I assume it's because the area is a red bubble.
Where I am here in Ohio is blue, although my neighbor has a fair amount of both parties in it. People are much more measured in their language and take into account they might be speaking with someone not in agreement with their views.
The "my governor is a moron" signs in yards in Michigan really stuck in my craw too. So many of them. And people calling Whitmer a queen, and far worse. Yes, absolutely think because she is a woman, it's far worse as well.
