The media owns a big chunk of what is wrong

For years they went the way of both sides opinions are to be considered, instead of being truth tellers of fact in the news.

And it is not just fux news. It is every single one of them.

Giving an outlet to falsehoods guilded as opinion that must be considered, has wrought damage on our society and fabric of our nation.

And they are still doing it.

absence of a conscience in the US media. Millions lose healthcare and it is barely ever mentioned. Millions are really desperate financially during this time and it barely gets a mention. Trump spouts lies and bigotry and he is never geld to account. Policies barely get discussed. It's not news. It's entertainment.

8. The media is at the mercy of their big advertisers.

Ever wonder why the media gave the impression that Stella Liebeck of McDonalds coffee fame had filed a frivolous lawsuit over spilled coffee instead of almost dying from 3rd degree burns from McDonald’s super heated coffee? How much advertising does McDonalds buy every year?

The big corporations like oil companies do not like climate change stories so you hardly ever hear this story in the news. The people want action yet politicians and the media are largely silent. There is a direct connection.

they had a big part of trump being in the White House. He was on 24/7 and now even with his loss he's still on 24/7. I was so sick of hearing his voice spewing lies and nonsense. I can't wait for the day I won't have to see his bloated orange face and the most ridiculous hairdo imaginable. Yes, right now the media is still doing it.

5. Yes, and I always said it was worse when CNN and some others did it than when Fox did it

since most already knew Fox was right wing leaning . But the others had more credibility with many viewers who aren't very political.

Even now they call that lunatic "prez" instead of lunatic and monster. It is a mockery of the truth. I feel so sickened by what has gone down the past 5 years and what they have done.

7. As an example lets look at how they made a huge deal out of "court packing" which did hurt Democrats

because the low info no partisan types never look at details and "court packing" sounds negative. And because the media was making a huge thing out of it they think it's something horrible.

There is less outrage over the Trump and republicans not helping with the Transition . Instead they just report it as if it's a sports game and "how will biden react" way.

Instead of demanding Republicans answer to why they aren't doing anything to help with this process.

It's the same way they have allowed McConnell to get away with bs while anything Trump does something bad the story is how will Nancy Pelosi react instead of demanding Republicans answer for the shit their party is doing.

the media was "In this bad economy" and "Slow Recovery". The stock market increased 280% while Obama
was in office but we never heard about the stock market until Trump got in office. Morning Joe gave Trump a
platform every morning to spread his bullshit.

but the message really tends toward amplifying Republican/Right wing messaging and ensuring that all arguments are framed from that perspective, as if it is truth.
