I wonder who Senator Graham spoke to between the two calls?

(14,038 posts)But Joe says he wants to "move on".
Turin_C3PO
(13,650 posts)said that about Biden? It says he wouldnt interfere and leave prosecutions up to the DOJ. Thats the way it should be: an independent DOJ.
CanonRay
(14,038 posts)which is another way to say "move on". Don't tell me that won't influence and AG.
Turin_C3PO
(13,650 posts)I can say with near certainty that there will be DOJ prosecutions of some Trump administration officials. Trump himself might be left to the state of New York and thats fine. He wont escape some type of justice.
PatSeg
(46,807 posts)and I think it is best if Biden is not involved, especially after the way Trump exerted so much influence over the DOJ for four years. He needs to be seen as very different. There are plenty of people who can handle Trump and his corrupt friends. Meanwhile, Biden will have plenty on his plate from day one.
obamanut2012
(25,911 posts)Which is why there will be someone very good in at AG, like Sally Yates or similar.
PatSeg
(46,807 posts)Sally Yates would be perfect and she certainly deserves it.

(46,807 posts)I love her. Plus I expect Joe to pick a whole lot of women for his administration. This will be a very diverse administration, just as he said.

(80,700 posts)Can't really call it a cow pen.
Sally Yates. Stacey Abrams is another one (YEAH I know she wants to run for governor again...).
AND ... who've we got at the state level? Like, for example, who've we got where there's a Democratic governor who'd appoint another Democrat - or better yet, a Republican SENATOR whose Democratic governor could replace him or her with another Democrat? Same thing for a House member. Might be a sneaky way to get one more Dem in as a replacement - and flip another House seat from red back to blue.
Think strategy here. And the more devious, the better.
PatSeg
(46,807 posts)I remember Obama tried doing that, but the republican backed out. I think he was pressured not to take the position, but wanted to. I can't remember his name now.
I've been very impressed with all the amazing women Democratic governors and mayors that we have now. It was like overnight, women started to take over and they are good at it!

This is the same phrasing Biden used in the debates because we need to separate his powers with that of investigating and ruling judgement on Trump and his illegalities.

(20,882 posts)I bet a lot of ballots are still stuck or lost in the post office from left leaning areas of those states.
In Kentucky a bunch of people registered for absentee and over 1 million eligible voters did not return their ballots.

(70,295 posts)I hope "they" hammer Graham unceasingly about this call (if true) because I am
still pissed about his part in the 7 year 77 million $ blow job hunt of Bill Clinton.
Although given his sexuality and the GOP's use of anti LGBT hate to whip up their
base I find Graham really disgusting.
