(except Biden). So I'm not surprised on the age count. And welcome the rainbow.

These folks are staff appointments.

I'm guessing Secretary of Defence for Pete.

can feel that we're handing off the government to a competent next generation. I felt that way when Mayor Pete was campaigning and now I feel the same about the new appointments for the Biden Administration.

I'm absolutely convinced that a new generation and certainly a more diverse set of human beings can do an outstanding job.

They could not do worse.

Although he's much older than even I am, I applaud our fine President Elect for recognizing this and involving those who will have to live with the mess we made after we've kicked off.

This is worth mentioning because ever since Bush, some Repugs have made a point of appointing minority advisers - who are often worse than even the worst white right-wingers.

Think people like Alberto Gonzáles, Pete Navarro, and Kash Patel.

They feel they have to prove themselves to the other Repugs - and they're right. So they are thus often that much more vicious.

I say god bless them all. Some folks cling to their tribalism BS. I am not one of them. The more diverse, the better. Everything changes. That is the only constant in the universe.
