that pumps up ratings and revenues when he's spouting BS.

Trump's lawyers will handle his legal problems and while he might be compelled to show up for a deposition and such, his dairy presence won't be required until a trial actually starts.

Trump will do everything he can to delay any trials, we might be talking years of legal wrangling. That's always been his MO. In the mean time Trump will still be gritting, and looking for ways to keep himself relevant in the eyes of his fans.

He deserves it but I suspect it won't happen.
Our justice system is not designed to hold rich white people accountable (except the occasional democrat).

Before the election, she hoped to help put Trump back on the golf courses full time! She surely knows about the lawsuits against him, but seemed resistant to even mention them.

i think one of the amazing stories of the last 4 years will turn out to be the various tightropes media and cabinet personnel have had to walk to limit Trump's worst impulses, so he golfs more and engages less in actively deranged and destructive behaviors.

Launderer for scummy rich people and scummy republicans, and scummy corporations.

They might be scared of what he knows about what they did or do with thier money.

Get all the scummy narcissists authoritarians and sociopaths out of our
Government, and tear them apart with lawsuits audits and progressive taxation.

10. "Why does the media talk as if trump will be free to do as he pleases."

MOST in the corporate media have gone out of their way to normalize the tyrant, plus as others say he's the media's cash cow, money-maker etc.

Now, unless the corporate media knows something we don't IE: That tRump won't be prosecuted by ANYONE and will get away with murdering his own citizens 2 times: Once through Covid-19 neglect, and by removing the ACA in total, pre-existing and all hence killing people who are say undergoing chemo when their health insurance is yanked away from them. WHO knows what's going on, because I'm seeing more folks saying that Biden may just let tRump get away with everything he did, because he has so much to fix that tRump destroyed in this country. I'm hoping that Biden means that he won't get involved with other federal agencies taking that fat, treasonous hog to task and hold him responsible for all of the murderous, treasonous, law-breaking crimes he's committed while President of the United States of America.
