All those Trump voters are in for a rude awakening . . .

What is the one thing we know about Trump that is absolutely, positively true?

That he cares only about himself . .. . and no one else. Anyone who disagrees with him, or doesn't do his bidding, is quickly dismissed – not only from whatever appointive job they may hold, but from his life and consciousness . . . once they're no longer of use, he doesn't need them cluttering up the place.

When Joe Biden is inaugurated, and this pandemic is brought under control with Joe's leadership, most of his voters will be quite happy to forget about politics for awhile and try to return to and/or re-shape their lives. In a very short time, they're simply not going to care all that much about Donald Trump.

This will make Donald furious .. . . and, in return, he will cease caring about them . . .. (fact is, he doesn't really care all that much about them now; he only cares about what use they may be to him and his little fantasy world) . . . Rude awakening = Trump voters are just as disposable as everyone else who doesn't constantly genuflect before the Donald.

A Trump TV network? DOA . . . A 2024 run for the presidency? No chance; according to his niece, he'll never again put himself in a position where he might lose .. . . besides, he never wanted to be president in the first place (and Melania certainly didn't want to be First Lady) . . . he just wanted the title and better access to the nation's wealth to line his own pockets. Someone who spends all his time watching Fox news and tweeting isn't exactly consumed by the responsibilities of the office..

The bottom line on Trump is that he's a buffoon and a charlatan who (one more time) cares about no one but himself. As this becomes ever clearer, and as his voters are dismissed along with everyone else no longer of use, all but the most fervent and delusional MAGAs will extract themselves from the cult and leave Donald a very sad and lonely buffoon and charlatan.

We just have to keep an eye on him for a couple of months to ensure that he doesn't do something really disastrous and irreversible on his way out.

yeah, we hear from the crazies, but they are a small percentage of the 70-odd million who voted for him . . . hell, the much ballyhooed "million man march" on Washington drew, what, 20,000 (being generous), or about 2% of their advertised goal . . .

most Trump voters will accept Joe Biden as president, and I imagine more than a few are already thinking (if not yet verbalizing) "give it a rest, Donald" . . ..
