Know what's really sad about this Thanksgiving?

We can't get together to celebrate this political defeat of Donald Trump - no, we have to reinforce the need to wear masks and stay socially distant. Because we are right in the middle of it again....just like we were 6 months ago.

It's an arbitrarily-chosen date that is basically a harvest festival - but if people get together to celebrate it on that arbitrary date of Nov. 26, the only thing they're likely to harvest is a case of covid19, and some of them might not be around to celebrate the equally-arbitrary date of Christmas, Dec. 25. Seems to me that people who want a nice celebration with their families could wait until next summer, when the situation might be better and they could at least be outside, and have a big party to observe Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas, Easter, birthdays, Independence Day and anything else that got missed.

The nextgen sibs appear to be too. So it would be a 'Fuck Trump' type of Thanksgiving. Everyone should be so blessed.
