The right wing has succumbed to a cult

or at least it has become one.

The coordinated campaign of lies, half lies, half truths and what I can only define as "special editing"is taking an immeasurable toll on out society.

We can't reconcile with them until they recognize what's happening.

And the liberal media, which has really been the conservative press all along, being their sworn enemy allows for the success of OAN and Newsmax, etc. This lets lies get around the world five and six times before the truth even gets on his shoes.

Facts don't matter to them...the truth...reason...being TOLDT does. They want to bark the orders, or have the orders barked at them. They LIKE that shit. It makes them feel safe somehow

But these folks are in a cult. Cambridge Analytica and the rest (because they weren't alone) really did a number on them.

If you rely on the real facts, you can simply choose from any mainstream sources including published, peer-reviewed papers to build your worldview.

Alternative facts, on the other hand, lead to a culture of guruism. Since reality can be so overwhelming, gurus make order out of the disorder and paint simplified but distorted portraits of reality. Think Bob Ross but with a corporate haircut (no afro). Only a talented few have this artistic ability, and their paintings are Xeroxed and disseminated among the masses.
