Donald Trump will never be convicted of anything

Note that I didn't say "put on trial." I said "convicted."

Even if he pardons himself or is pardoned by Pence, both NY State and NY City may just have enough regarding his financial dealings, money laundering, etc., to put him on trial for racketeering or worse.

Here's the big BUT: It's virtually impossible for any prosecutor to select a jury that doesn't have at least one MAGAt on it. And that one MAGAt would never vote to convict him of anything at all, (rape, murder, cannibalism, -- you name it).

You may be thinking that he'll get off totally free, but my guess is the fines he'll have to pay to the IRS and many, many others will leave him broke. But you just know he'll find some scam to have his MAGAts "donate" to him and he'll pocket millions.

In effect, he'll be exiled to Mar-a-Lago and some nearby golf course for the rest of his life, wallowing in his own victimhood. And even if he tries to establish his own media outlet, the reality is that every business he ever founded failed. So will any media outlet he tries to establish.

He will fade away like Sara Palin. And all we'll be left with is the criminal organization called The Republican Party.

in a different sort of government housing than he's been enjoying for the past four years, I agree that it isn't likely to happen - so I will content myself with the thought that eventually, after even the MAGAts have moved on, he'll be broke and ignored.

and make him squirm enough.

In NYC, it might be possible to avoid a Magat on the jury. If they have peremptory challenges, it might even be a thing they could ask. Though Magats lie.

I agree he won't do a day in prison, maybe some home detention, fines, probation.

I think he will do the rallies, play at being a professional candidate to milk the cultists for more money as well.

Oh and if he gets fine huge amounts of money. Trump will instantly become destitute.

I don't know if MAGAts have the same feelings about Trump's clan that they have about Dear Leader.

But would it ever happen? Depends on the brass balls of the prosecutor. Is there a jury out there without a Magat on it?

It would actually be possible to find a Magat-free Jury in Manhattan, where Cy Vance’s case would take place.

if they know they will lose.

It's extremely difficult to untangle financial dealings and find tax crimes, especially if he did in fact have high loses in prior years.

I'm just glad he won't be Prez in a few months.

Lawyers have the opportunity to interview and discard potential jurors that have bias regarding a case.

Of course it will be just as hard to find jurors unbiased against Trump too.
