Senate Intelligence Committee acting Chairman Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) said his interactions with Krebs were "positive" and he doesn't "have any criticism of his work" but that it was up to Trump whether to fire him.

It is up to Trump! Suck a weakling! He is "I have concerns" GOP who always toes the GOP line.

Reading through those....they could have all been the same quote.

GOP are cowards. Some of these folks have 6 years before they face reelection and are totally afraid to say one thing critical of Trump.

6. They are waiting for cover to break with Trump. They have always been waiting for cover.

That cover can be from the few brave Conservatives still in the party. Or maybe the media and public sentiment to turn on Trump enough. But these cowards are waiting for cover. Once they have it, it will be like a flood.

I doubt they'll get much cover from within the party. The Republicans purged their principles and intelligentsia during the W era. During the Trump era, anyone left with conviction and courage left the party in disgust in 2017 and 2018. All that's left are Four Seasons Total Trump supporters or cowards hanging on to the government's teat.
