The Senate just confirmed 33-year-old Kat Mizelle, a Jones Day associate and ex-Thomas clerk, to a federal judgeship in Florida. The ABA gave her a "not qualified" rating due to lack of trial experience.

Out of Trump's young judges, she's the youngest.

Lame Duck Senate Confirms Trump's Youngest Judge Yet | National Law Journal
Mizelle, 33 at the time of her nomination, is the latest of Trump's judicial nominees to receive a not qualified rating from the American Bar Association and be confirmed to a federal judgeship.

If we want to stop this shit we must win it all back. And we must win local elections which makes it difficult given the US's fetish for land.

Really, I mean the ABA!
They keep letting themselves be stood up as stooges at the alter!
WTF!!!!!!
They come to you, ABA, and "ask your advice."
You give it.
And then they do what they want, leaving you looking like a guy that paid for a "bl** job" and had the cops show up just before you reached for you zipper!

HAVE YOU NO SHAME?

They are USING YOU - and don't care!!!!!!

Oh, wait, you ARE them, right?

They gave their opinion. She’s unqualified, but the Republican Senate confirmed her appointment anyway. I can’t blame the ABA for that.

And, no. The ABA is not in league with the Republican Party.

they could say:

You ask us for our professional opinion.
We give it to you.
You act according to what your standards are, disregarding our own opinions.
We will no longer be allowing you to use us as a validating member of your actions.

You are correct - they can't do squat!

BUT, they could show principles - and concern - and contempt for how they are being used.

There was a time when those things mattered.
