(90 posts)Biden will have smart, competent people around him who will know how or figure out how to put out these fires. The current bunch of misfits never had a clue to begin with.

(15,079 posts)Joe Biden will hire TRULY the Best People who will know how to address this mess.
Although, winning the two Georgia Senate seats is key - Moscow Mitch will do everything in his power to stop Biden from fixing things. What a disgustingly evil man.

Putin really got his money's worth with trump.

I hope they'll be held accountable at some point. The sooner the better.

(10,749 posts)And you know something? Joe and his team are expert bureaucratic firefighters. Joe's been at this for 50 years. Sure, trump is a vile, treasonous bastard, but he's not really all that unique. To do what he's done and what he's doing requires bureaucratic acrobatics. And Joe knows how to deal with this stuff. He and his team will prioritize and undo the damage in due course. And, with carefully crafted executive orders, due course will be sooner rather than later. It may take court cases, especially with some of the turmoil he's causing now with court appointees, oil & gas leases and other environment raping matters, etc., but even with trump's appointees we've seen a number of republican-appointed judges recently behave somewhat reasonably.
At least that's my two cents for now.

(14,695 posts)He can irritate all the leaders he wants, but most don't want bad relations with the us, and only the most bitter opponents want ongoing conflicts they can't win.
But he is trying to burn the world down around us. And that should be war crime he can't be pardoned for.

Americans sabotaging the U.S. government--preemptively or otherwise--is sedition/treason. There must be consequences.
