two Democratic Senators from Georgia that Joe Manchin will turn around and switch his affiliation to the Republican Party? He has denied that he would, but do we trust his assertion?
"Manchin also however dismissed any contention that he would switch parties due to his moderate stance on such issues, a question that has come up in the past as well. 'I'm a proud moderate conservative Democrat. Maybe there's not many of us left but I can tell you what this country wants is moderation,' he said."

(52,163 posts)If he were to flip, republicans would momentarily cheer him, then quickly sideline him because they don't tolerate disloyalty.
Republicans will then easily take his senate seat and his career will be over.
