General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsTrump seems determined to screw up our nation as much as possible before he leaves office.
He's acting as if he hates the entire country for choosing not to keep him in the White House, and wants to do as much damage as possible while he's there. The only solution I can think of is a rapid impeachment and removal, but he has room to do a lot more before there's any chance that the Senate would go for that. Keeping him in power for the next two months could be disastrous.
He may be as dumb as a duck but he's not lame. I wonder if he was serious about leaving the country.

Anyone else who quit doing their job, or started sabotaging their company would be escorted off the property. How is this allowed to continue?

It's complicated.

(36,414 posts)I stumbled across Mary Trump's book at my Podunk library and thought, "What the Hell", and read it. It was an eyeopener in understanding the orange anus' demented thought process; in the stable genius' mind, has NO option but to go the scorched earth route.
Like I said, it's complicated

(7,787 posts)And the Republican party is right there with him. Virtually all of them. So who will stop them? Will the fucking military intervene when he doesn't leave? The fucking cops will intervene alright. On his behalf. He knows this. The Republicans know this. Who has the power to actually make him fucking go away if he simply chooses not to, and the Republican party stands with him?

(5,324 posts)It just doesn't make sense. When someone is bitter about being evicted he might refuse to leave or he might burn the place down, but not both.

(3,490 posts)They need his voters. Anyone who goes against him loses his support and will be subject to a primary loss. There arent any cabinet members to go the 25th amendment route.
Hes effectively holding us all hostage.
