They manipulate and cheat when they win elections - they tend to take advantage of the small population states, rural votes, and no longer can win popular vote - as well as goodness knows what.

We win by a landslide - and they just project their behavior onto Democrats - and claim victory?

Take a big step back and just think about how incredibly, totally fucked up this is.

I am starting to hear from friends - one a veteran, one a long time friend, neither of them remotely conspiracy types - that are truly visioning the end of our Democracy.

I've resisted this - hope that the norms hold, that SOME republicans will get their head screwed back on...

But...who or what is behind this insanity?

And if - IF - I repeat if - somehow the orange asshole wrests this election away from its rightful winner and maintains power, it is hard to imagine what will happen - what should happen, really - is the part of the country that still has its senses ready for the implication? Ready to become active and take a stand?

I confess I just can't go there yet. But we've still got two MONTHS of goodness knows what to ensure given that January 20 will be a much happier day (my birthday - that is a present I am craving - Joe Biden as our president)
