Gather like minded Republicans and break with the goddamn cult of a party. Declare en masse that you now caucus with the Democrats to dethrone this nonsense.

If you want to save your party, take away the incentive to support Trump. If supporting Trump gets them nothing, they'll break from him.

His end came since he got elected has been majority leader. He's showing he is the adult in the room to the non-insane senate GOP members (yes there are a few). He's running the long game with a possibility of it becoming a short game. At some point he will challenge McConnell or McConnell will die either way that's what he's planning for.

McConnell proved a very old adage, why be the guy in charge when you can control the guy in charge.

It's not saying much, but he's less horrible than the average Republican. If you look at the Republicans who served as Governor of Massachusetts in the last 25 years (Weld, Cellucci, Romney, Baker), all of them were way more reasonable than Republicans in general, except for maybe Cellucci, who came within one state legislature vote of reinstating the death penalty in Mass.
