Let me just say to the likes of Joni Ernst and Scott Walker and their posse of enablers: yeah, it

is a good thing that you are finally criticizing Trump's hateful nonsense with terms like "outrageous", BUT----

that does not begin to balance against the years you have spent encouraging his excesses and vulgarities, grovelling before him in hope of getting a pat on the head and almost literally kissing his ass.

You likely will not live long enough to erase your complicity with the Trump coup attempt from America's memory.

I've lived here for 19 years and it is becoming clear that most of the people in this town are actually really awful people.

Thankfully, with Covid, I can avoid interacting with them entirely.

we would be discussing granting some possible time off for "good behavior." "Good behavior" can be recognized, and even rewarded to a degree within the context of a sentence previouisly given, but it does not negate the underlying crime. But by all means proceed, we can use some more "good behavior" from the likes of them right about now.

was failing to show up to Dr. Ford’s hearing during the Kavanaugh confirmation. Ernst, who herself was a victim of sexual assault and claims to support other victims, said at the time “No, I’m not going, I trust Chuck Grassley.” I find that unforgivable, especially for a Senator who sits on the Judiciary committee.
