where he could lose so spectacularly and so publicly.

For now, it's just a lot of hot air.

I know we were all saying that back in 2012 when Trump started to rumble about a Presidential run. But that was back before he had a record to run on. Once he did, he lost.

and depositing their money into HIS pockets. It's the grift. Donnie Disaster has his database and he's pitching his victimhood so he can rake in millions in donations. Trumpers will stop eating and paying rent just so they can show their loyalty to Trump. He's the new Christian Pope. It doesn't matter that he's a felon and a rapist and a sex abuser. Once they ordain him Pope, he's infallible.

when you are busy being in court in New York. He has gone a step too far in the eyes of many, me included. This will not be forgotten. Running for president in 2024 will show many film clips of Dumpy (if he runs) at his pep rallies and insulting ways, lying ways, cheating ways, and disrespecting ways. His lack of knowledge about governing as well as the fact he hasn't really worked a day over the past 4 years, will not have set well with the public. *0 million will have voted against him. It would be more in four years. I doubt he will run. He will bilk the donors, but keep the funds.

Rubio and/or Haley don't have the moxie to replace Trump. They're just standard politicians, and they aren't able to pull off a con in the same way that Trump can do it.

For some reason I am envisioning someone from the wrestling community. I don't know them very well, but that seems to be the raw meat that Trump cultists want. You just need to combine with the Evangelicals and the monied Republicans and you can repeat the formula.

Is one of the megachurch pastors a possibility?

She was able to get a short-lived reality show, but the most interesting part of the reality show was Alaska family life and not Palin herself.

Trump is old and will have to work too hard to keep up the charade. He already had his reality show...Nothing to see here, move along. Without power, Trump is just a windbag.

They need to raise $$ to pay off campaign debts and they're broke. That's why they started the bogus election fraud donations thing. People thought they were paying for election lawyers but the money was going to pay campaign bills.

I'm not saying they won't try in '24 which is why a lot of R's need to lose their seats to Democrats between now and then. A majority in both House and Senate will put us in a good position to see this kind of horror show never happens again. It's also why Congress needs to enact legislation that will make it easier to stop another coup attempt.

As for Donnie, I doubt that his physical health and mental state will allow him to run and win: he won’t survive the stress.

All this laughing and thinking it can’t happen is whistling past the graveyard. Of course he’ll run again and goddamnit he COULD WIN.

Stop pretending this can’t happen. It may have all started as a joke but it’s deadly serious now. He got nearly 75 MILLION votes. He’s a serious threat.
