Pull the goalie, try the onside kick, a Hail Mary pass, sending up the old slugger to pinch hit in the bottom of the ninth. Everybody's seen the last ditch efforts to maybe, possibly somehow miraculously pull out the game. The MAGAT's are all drooling in their nachos sitting in front of their TV's hoping for that ending. Only it ain't coming. Trump is down by three touchdowns, out of time outs and the other team has the ball and is getting ready for the last kneel down. There will be no miracle come back. No last second heroics. Just the other team high-fiving each other while Trump slinks back to the other sideline without shaking hands.

DT and the right-wing noise machine are setting a stage that almost guarantees we will see acts of domestic terror against the Biden admin and those they perceive as key players in the "theft."

As long as the blinkered MAGA hoard thinks there is still a chance to "pull it out," they are likely to remain on the sidelines. But at the bitter end -- when electors are counted in Congress on Jan 6 -- the rage DT has fomented will erupt in some way. With something like 50,000,000 believing a Biden coup is underway, you can bet there are some among that number motivated and capable of inflicting serious harm.
